Another thing....picture uploads....I have started to be careful,on these.....and odd silly things I have opened a new account to store.
I wouldn't open video links or download as more than like will take space.
It's a nice idea, but not really practical unfortunately.

In response to:Is There Any Way To........

yes,i know that, but they also have options for blocking individual IPs,instead of whole ISP.Eventually it will be the user's responsibility to identify the IPs or range of IPs who leve unwanted comments, and they got tools to assist that.
The main question is if their code can be integrated into our blogs or not?

In response to:Is There Any Way To........

That service is not particularly useful unless the person has an unusual ISP. Most people in the UK are with either BT, Virgin or Sky for their internet service. Blocking one person from that ISP means blocking EVERYONE from that ISP.

In response to:Is There Any Way To........

Hi scooby,i take that you know much about programming.I refer you a website which you might look into.No i am not spamming :).
Their IP tracking service is paid for,but there is a free trial available. The tracker is the most accurate i have seen to this date. They claim to provide a service for bloggers in which the blogger can block IP adresses, and even a whole range of IPs.Can block ISPs cities and geographical areas.
Apparently, they generate an HTML code for you to replace the link on your blog of which you want total control. If the "Send Comment" button can be replaced by their HTML.All comments will redirect througfh their servers and comments from Blocked IPs will go into the oblivion.
I liked the idea, but since i know nothing about HTML editing,i cant say if it will work with BCUK or not.
You might have a look at their website and let us know :)
If it works, many bloggers will have a solution, although it will be from a third party and paid for,but at least it will be an option.
