Does anyone know how to block bebo? I tried going to run on the computer and then putting in a code and adding 127.0.0.1 bebo.com but it hasn't worked - the blonde is already registered on there - do i need to undo that first?

Pro Not really, I have a 10 year old that is using it and trying to keep her off the site isnt working unless we stand over her when she really should be using it for school stuff so it needs to be blocked totally

Pro Where did you find the process you already did (the 127.0.0.1 bit)?
The best way I know how to do it is a bit technical and depends on how you connect to the internet. Do you have a router?

Pro I found it on google!! Yeah we do have a router and a little man who comes in to sort stuff out - maybe I should give him a call and get it done properly then - I thought there might be an easy way x

Pro Well, your router has a firewall which you can add specific addresses to. What model is the router?
Also, the fact that the blonde has an account already makes no difference.

One other thing, all variants of the name need putting in there:
127.0.0.1 bebo.com
127.0.0.1 www.bebo.com
127.0.0.1 htttp://bebo.com
and any others you can think of.
Another thought: is it the same with both IE and Firefox?

I can't remember off the top of my head but I've always done it through tools > internet options > privacy. There's usually somewhere there you add the website address and block it.
I managed to get one site blocked before by adding it to list of unsafe ones and clicking a category, then adding a password to unlock the block, if that makes sense! x
