Can some kind person take the time to explain to me exactly why increasing amounts of younger gentlemen(and others not so young), who we have come to know as chavs and the like, seem to be walking around with their hands down the front of their trousers holding what i can only guess is their inadequate genitals?
Am I the only one who has noticed this?
They stand around in groups all with their hands down their pants, you must have seen it!?
I have seen groups people actually speaking to these weirdos as if nothing was slightly off, as they stand their unashamedley with their dirty mits delving around in their boxer shorts.
It seems to me it is a fashion, like the low slung jeans that people are wearing at the moment. But I can understand that someone might see someone dressed that way and think thats cool I'll wear my trousers like that too. But who sees a bloke standing round with his hands in his pants and thinks 'yeah I wanna look that like guy!' 'god damn thats one ice cold rudeboi!'
Could this be classed as indecent behaviour?
Why do they do it?
Where did it start? (apparently the low slung extremely baggy jeans started in american prisons for some reason)

It's probably a juvenile comforting thing, like sucking their thumb, only if they suck their thumb their peers would take the piss out of them so instead they cradle their crotch.
I'm surprised they wear their trousers high enough to stick their hands down them, most of the young adults/Teens I see wear their waistband around their knees making them walk like penguins.
It always makes me laugh when I see it as it reminds me of Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins when he dances with the penguins.
If only they realised how stupid they look...
