I just thought of a slogan for eBay which is - "If you can't buy it on eBay it's not worth buying". This is a bit jokey and I don't suppose they'll go for it, but I can't remember a time before eBay when things were bought through ordinary channels.

I was a kenn ebayer, great feedback etc but one day my brother phoned me and asked me to bid on something he had listed so the other bidder would go higher, i kinda felt a bit disheartened by the fact and now i look on other sites first
