I am considering getting my nipple/ nipples pierced.
Does anyone on here have theirs done?
Is it really painfull? More painfull than getting your nose pierced?
Do most women get both of their nipples done? Is only getting one pierced a "guy thing"?
I looked at getting my nipples pierced both ways (horizontally and vertically), but my friend says thats risky. Is it? Does anyone have any information on this subject?
Personal stories/ experiences welcome.

I know a few people that have done it, both male and female and although they have all complained of initial discomfort... they all seem to be very happy about having it done..
I say go for it.. why the fuck not?
and for my wonderful advice... I expect photographic proof of the done deed.

I would say Don't do it! But then I am probably a different generation to you. The decision is yours...

I've got both mine done, horizontally. Vertical is more blokey...
They take between 6 months and a year to heal and during that time are prone to inflamations.
It hurts like hell to get it done, mine spurted blood but apparently that's not usual...
if you do get them done go to a professional, mine were done at an upmarket Beauty salon which had a dedicated, qualified, experienced piercer, who put me right at ease. -

I don't think it is a good idea on the whole, but it depends on your reason for wanting to do it.
I have heard that it can lead to complications later on if you have a kid and want to breastfeed.

I used to have mine pierced (A really silly idea I had when I was 16!) and it hurt like hell! The freeze spray hurt and the actual piercing hurt!

After that initial pain though it was ok afterwards. I took it out when I was 17 and it's never properly healed
It didn't stop me breastfeeding either of my children though so I guess it can't have done much damage to anything!
I don't know about getting them both done, I think that's just personal preference
