in 'property snakes & ladders' and other such property programmes, when people buy houses to do up and sell on, the houses, when finished, are always shown fully furnished.
do the developers buy all that furniture, plasma tv's, sofas, beds, the lot, just to show off the house? what do they do when the house sells? sell the furniture with the house? does it go into storage? was it hired? i must know this!

generally, they hire them just for the viewings.. if all the viewings are on the same day.. all the items can be hired just for that time
