I need to make a cool flyer for our next exhibition.:>>

My proof-reader is far far away, and I'm trying to save the money our no-existing organization don't have by doing it myself.:P

So, I need good wording, layout and probably some pics?

  • I have a problem

And you know they say problems shared.... end up even more confusing, lol.

Five years ago I began studying by distance learning, for a degree. I was healthier in those days and it was hard but great fun and very interesting.

The last few years I have gone downhill fast and studying is no longer 'fun' but a huge chore and I have no interest or motivation to continue.

However, my family are expecting me to get a degree, and every time I try and tell them I'd like to finish and concentrate on my art and writing and generally just relax more, they say 'oh no you can't, you must get this degree!'

Now, it's not as if I am young, or that a degree would get me a job - I know that, honestly, because no one wants to employ someone who has to keep lying down through pain etc - so whats the point?

I dunno, 51 yrs old and feel I have to please others all the time.

    What do you think?

  • Are we girls still romantic??

Read this post this morning - the writer has a very romantic view of girls, I think. ;)

Made me wonder if we women are more hardend now and have lost much of our romantic antics, whether we just hide our romantic feelings better (as they are less "required" in our modern world), or if we have never been that romantic in the first place and are simply more honest nowadays.

What's your view? And what about guys? Do you think men are romantic, generally speaking?
