Assuming there were charts available when you were born, what was Number One in the charts on the day you were born 
If no charts are available then have a hug and keep warm this winter. Actually you can pick what song you would of liked!

There were just about charts on my birthday but can't find anything exact as to what was No 1.

Pro No.1 when I was born in 1938 was "Thanks for the Memory" from the film "The Big Broadcast of 1938". It was sung by the stars of the film, Bob Hope and Shirley Ross.
Bob Hope, an English-born American comedian, later adopted the song as his signature tune with which he always finished his act.
Bob, same name as me though not his original name, was born in East London, same as me. He was actually born in 1903 and his family emigrated to America in 1908.

It was not his best film but he made the song last until he died, aged 100, about 5 years ago.

Pro I think he was a bit like Marmite, LJ. You either liked him or hated him!
He was very popular before television in films with Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour. They were in a series called the "Road Movies". Song and dance mixed with slap-stick. To be honest, not really my cup of tea!

Got to admit to a birth date of 1937, don't know what was the actual song on my birthday but "Harbour Lights" was in the charts for 29 weeks.
I only remember the version by The Platters in about 1957,
