Anyone who claims a prerogative for one of the 2 sexes only is being sexist, and that's A Bad Thing. This so-called (false) prerogative implies that women are indecisive creatures who can't make up their minds. I've never noticed that being a purely female issue.

But the fact remains that it is a saying. It had to have come across as a (true) prerogative in the eyes of many to be a saying that everyone recognizes. Though recognizing doesn't necessarily mean it's agreed upon. So... yeah, screw what I just typed earlier. I'm drunk. I'm with la_spice, good point, Tom.
