Does anybody say a word diferently from how it should be?
The reason i ask is Jade has a couple and i thought she would grow out of it as her speech improved but she has'nt.
For "Remote" She says "Marote"
For "Humans She says "Qumans"
I also have a friend who calls "Trousers" "Trooders"?

Both my Grandchildren say "morling" instead of morning. Their Mum is a trained speech therapist and is happy to let it go without worrying. She reckons they've got enough on the plates becoming bi-lingual.
And I worry about rolling my "r"s

recently someone over the 'phone misheard my name as michael , and , my Dad's family lived in gillespie road , london , which for some reason he and my mum always pronounced 'gillisbury' . .
my sister used to say 'Molk' instead if Milk...

Yes, I have a thing about the word oven, the trouble is because everyone has made a big deal out of this I always have trouble remembering what they right way to say it is.

I used to say, "Flam-tastic," instead of fantastic...dont' know why.
OMG--you know, you look so much like my sister (she's adopted so didn't inherit that Polish babuska look from my dad's side of the family)...wow, quite a resemblance to my sister, Mel, though.

Oh my god all the time.. if I'm tired/slightly drunk my french accent comes back and I say 'furgut' instead of 'forgot' and 'bert' instead of 'but'. My friend says 'squozen' for 'squeezed' which I think is cute!

Pro "wander" and "wonder" sound the same when I say them, so others always wonder *ahem* why I say "wonder" when I really mean "wander".

A lot of black folks I work with also say "aks" instead of "ask". And no, this is not a racist statement, merely a fact.

Well there's the age old debate regarding "Glasgow" and "Glarsgow" (i choose the former); "plaque" and "plarque" (again the former) and "scon" and "scone" (former). Although I am actually a southerner so I will pronounce 'bath' and 'grass' with elongated vowels.
I like to deliberately mispronounciate 'hyperbole'.
