I was listening to Bird on the wire this morning and thought that just about sums me up. What about you?

Of course you can.
I will try the first and already listen to the second most days on the way to work. That track got terribly bad publicity when it first 'came out' most people found the video too overtly homosexual and missed the deeper message.

Yes agreed ... There is a very deep message within his song and music.

Climie Fishers song This is Me. Listened to this a lot after a separation. It took me back to before meeting her and I realised I wasn't me with her so it helped. Its an old 80/early 90s thing.

Yes, there are a few like that that resonate. That was what I was getting at in the question. Thanks

Probably!

-
- 2008-11-02 @ 16:00:51

Nah that is a toad. If you kiss someone covered with warts what do you expect?
Frogs are much more refined!
Nice legs as well (or so I am told!)-

Wish you were here c1975?
Wasn't that supposed to be a tribute to Sid?
Interesting choice as I'd expect from you!

Yes a tribute to Rodger "Syd" Barrett.
It fits me and just imagine how long and tedious all parts 1 to 7 will be when they burn me

Another interesting choice. I grew up with the Beatles asnd the Stones and was one of those rare ones who loved both!
What is it about this one for you?

- 2008-11-04 @ 22:05:08
Thanks.
I also asked this question on another site and the replies split into three camps.
One was there are so many
One was happy to go with just one
The third found the question difficult in some way. One reply (not yours) was downright abusive for asking the question!
People seriously amaze me!
I am just glad everyone is not like me. Maybe I'll ask the question 'Would Hell be living with people exactly like yourself?'
-
- 2008-11-05 @ 14:36:55
hey damn good question man...so my answer would most likely be..."so maybe this is hell?!"

it is a tough question cz :
1) being me is weird, if anyone wrote songs about how this girl talks to the moon for hours about whats bothering her then maybe it would be easier.
2)there arent many songs about day-time zombies like moi.
but one song that would probably apply to both is "i dont like the drugs but the drugs like me," by marilyn manson!
-
- 2008-11-03 @ 15:30:26
That's quite difficult - I can definitely apply songs to certain events but a general song reflecting my ethos?
Maybe Slung-lo, Erin Mckeown. I like that one.-
- 2008-11-04 @ 22:10:15
Good. Thanks for a positive choice!

Great question. I don't know the answer really, but the other day I heard Paul Simon's "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard" and thought, hell yeah!
"Well Im on my way
I dont know where Im going
Im on my way
Im taking my time
But I dont know where"-
- 2008-11-04 @ 22:12:39
With me it depends on my mood.
One day its this, the next its that!
