Dominic was kind enough to send me a link to last nights Question Time, and I must admit I am disgusted by the responses from panelists and audience about the Indian terror attack.

My question to you is, what causes people to go and do this kind of thing?

Have you heard of the Indian Revolution of 1857, are you aware of it's causes and the repurcussions from it?

How is the terrorism we are seeing in India today any different, just because now we have so-called "innocent" people in India?

I am thinking smoked salmon and scrambled eggs at the moment with a sprinkling of crispy bacon bits accompanied by a glass of bucks fizz. Thoughts?

I never have a problem sleeping. I could "sleep on a clothes line" as my father used to say. I sleep deeply and dream fascinating dreams. If I get up in the night, I go straight off again as soon as my head hits the pillow. Nothing much disturbs my slumber, at night, after lunch, after dinner. I sleep like a baby. But ... I'm told I snore!

I am not aware of snoring, though occasionally a sudden snort might wake me for a moment, but I accept it as a fact since tape-recordings have been played back to me.

Mrs Grumpus, on the other hand, has mild insomnia. We have different sleep patterns and she has trouble sleeping anyway, whether I'm there or not. I feel bad that my snoring sometimes keeps her awake and I have tried various methods of stopping, including, nasal sprays, catarrh pastilles, nose strips, different pillows, nothing works permanently. Of course, I draw the line at surgery ... MRSA, C-Diff and all that.

Mrs Grumpus wakes at the slightest noise, and can't get back to sleep for hours. She starts mulling over problems that might never happen, things she can't do anything about. She says relaxation techniques don't work. Sometimes she'll take herself off to another bedroom for the rest of the night.

My question is: Is it MY problem or HERS?

I should add, our relationship is rock solid.

I heard on the radio the other day that 30% of people who join up to singles and dating websites are in fact not single.

Does this figure justify the creation of dating websites for people already attached, or do you think it is making money from the weakness of certain relationships?

Bearing in mind that everyone who joins these websites KNOW that the other users are already attached, whereas with a regular one they may be being lied to by one third of the users.

The reason I ask this question is because "drinks are three"...

i.e. I have three drinks in front of me.

Can you prove to me that you are real?

What book / film / author do you think is most accurate in predicting the future?  Does that make sense? It's always difficult when talking about stuff like this, I get all my tenses mixed up.
What I mean is, do you think The Fifth Element is a likely future scenario, or will it be more like, erm, Blade Runner.
Personally I think this is an excellent question, so I expect great answers.

Has anyone else ever fallen for someone that they have never met face to face?
I met someone two years ago via chatting, texts, and texting. He is so brilliant and amazing. I really felt as though he was a kindred spirit. We hardly ever speak anymore but I have never forgotten him and think of him at least once a day. Am I strange?

The Nazis are often used by some partisan Christians as the prime example of atheistic evil, yet as these quotes demonstrate the matter may not be so simple. Hitler himself was brought up as a Catholic.

for me..hmm ive made many mistakes all of which has landed me in a terrible mess at the moment....but despite my zombie-like demeanor i think its probably better off this way. at least for me it wont take much to tear away the fabric right??? but its hurt so many people unconditionally...its like my existence, everything i say and do hurts someone...hmmm..ill live with the guilt and the trauma..or maybe not..i dont know...

i heard this one off my friend, but am not too sure about it...can someone please enlighten me and keep it light at the same time...? im a little more than dense when it comes to these theories and blah-ti-blah-ti-da. the concepts i love but the application and the equations..ugh!

what do you have to say about this in purely philosophical terms? well all sorts of answers are welcome even those containing math equations (which is like gassing my brain cells). i read this book once by A.E. DYSON or some one like that on this "fifth dimension," it started off on a pretty interesting note but in the end it sounded like he wrote a fuck fat book just to convert some "lost souls" into Christianity...>_< what a bummer...but the concept of the fifth dimension is quite interesting...hmmm what say you mortals?
