  • Holiday all done and a question.

Hello friends, yes, that's it, the holiday is all over, as I wrote before this was the first time that I had been out of the UK, Corfu and its people were great and I now have two countries under my belt as I also visited Albania.

May I say welcome to all new friends that have joined the group and although I have not had a chance to read them yet, for all the posting that has been going on.

    O K,here is the question,

Who is behind the millions of dollars that are pushing Obama towards the presidency of the USA? What do they expect in return for their investment? or, Are they just kind individuals that are doing it for the good of the people?

  • Computer Question

I have DSL 2000 at home which has been sufficient so far, but recently I've started listening to UK radio stations online (XFM, Capitol, Planet Rock, Virgin Classic Rock), and during peak hours of online traffic (I assume), the connection breaks down, reconnects to the stations, breaks down, reconnects, breaks down... you get the picture. It's so annoying!

Only the connection to the radio stations is lost, my internet as such works fine. I can blog or read the news without any problems.

I'm thinking about upgrading to DSL 6000 but before I spend the extra money on something that won't change anything, I'd like to know:

How can I find out where exactly the problem lies? How can I determine if it's the cables within the house (which aren't glass fibre yet), the cables in the town I live in, or the connection between the UK and mainland Europe? Or maybe even the servers of said radio stations?

Will DSL 6000 make any difference?
