Crime is on the rise and a big problem for our society.
Nevertheless I'm curious: if you could commit a crime and get away with it, which one would it be? And why this particular crime?

Crime? Hmmm.... let's see.
I guess if I could commit any crime I choose with a guarantee of getting away scot free, I'd probably rob some faceless multi-national of enough money to see me comfortably through the rest of my life. That said it'd be nice to steal enough to end world poverty, but I guess that's just another pipe-dream...-

i would...hmmm i would...hmm well i dunno men...some of the stuff that i would do, i dont consider a crime, like marijuana. the law says otherwise but i dont think its particularly wrong...hmmm...i guess "Crime" is a personal definition. for instance my parents would think its a crime to "fornicate," i would just "whatever."
i would...well its a crime to murder yeah,(from a personal point of view too) so i would murder mahinda rajapaksha (srilankan president) and all the other fuckers including prabakaran(ltte) FOR KILLING MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY!!

Excellent statement! A lot of people are upset about actions of others and then go for the "eye for an eye" rule without realizing that this makes them just as bad as those they've complained about.-

absolutely, but then again they end up with no choice right? sometimes the only way you can justify a slap is by slapping the person back. you know what i feel like doing? starting a huge hippie revolution, get all my friends in the bands to help me out, jam the roads completely, get everyones attention and show them that its wrong ABSOLUTELY wrong the way they are killing my country and its almost simple minded people...hmmm...might be interesting!

If I could commit one crime and be guaranteed to get away with it, I would find one of these greedy low-life "short-sellers" who caused the financial mess the world is currently in and rob him of ALL his ill-gotten millions.
Then having taken a few quid to help my family, I would spend the rest of my life doling money out to deserving causes anonymously. It would be a full time job listing and vetting them and deciding how much they needed.
Don't all rush at once!

That's the worst crime you would commit?? You're either very innocent or very cautious or have very high standards - or all three of them.

I think it is only too easy these days to commit a crime without realising it. For example if you are driving in a lane in an unfamiliar part of London in heavy traffic which suddenly without much warning turns into a bus lane with a camera and no one in the other lane will let you out. Eeep
Or where you are doing 50 on a nice dual carriageway, but suddenly at the bottom of the hill without much warning at all, is a bottleneck and 30mph sign and YES a speed camera.
Spend much of my time trying to avoid inadvertant crimes like this.
