Religious divisions in football supporters?

I live in the Glasgow area so I am aware it is considered that Glasgow Rangers are a Protestant supporters team whilst Glasgow Celtic are a Catholic supporters team, I believe that this is also the position between the two Edinburgh teams, Hearts and Hibs.
Does this happen between other teams from the same city, ie, the two Manchester teams, Liverpool and Everton, Aston Villa and Birmingham, two teams from London, Dundee and Dundee United, Bristol Rovers and Bristol City or anywhere else?
Are there other teams that are considered to be supported by other religious supporters?
