Forget gas and petrol.

A couple of years ago, if you went to a bar or pub and ordered, for example, a lemonade or coke, the usual price would be around 90p - £1.20.

Unfortunately the price does seen to be creeping up in many places for regular soft drinks.

The other day, in an average bar-cafe type place, I was charged £2.75. Didn't realise until the bill for all the food and drinks arrived and had been paid for.

Explain, please, in this instance, the justification behind £2.75 for a glass of Sprite.
