I'm a huge fan of the material he recorded in the last year's of his life (from whence this song comes). It's truly inspirational how his career, which had mostly spiralled down the plughole, was rejuvenated by a chance meeting and a return to basics: just a man alone with a guitar.
This material was largely responsible for me taking up the guitar again after a lapse. His first "American Recordings" album that starts with "Delia's Gone" is sheer brilliance.
