Because my diplomacy skills can be likened to the bluntness of a spoon, could anyone suggest a kind and convincing way of telling my brother that there is such a thing as less is more when it comes to muscles? He's a little insecure in general and has recently taken to the Body Beautiful a little over-enthusiastically. A few megatonnes of ProteinShakesR'Us later and he's twice the size he once was. About the size of a modest semi-detached.
I'm worried because he's now the size of your average bouncer and no clothes fit him but also because he's such a gentle, well spoken chap that it just appears a bit odd when you talk to him.
So yeah, crash course in diplomacy, preferably from someone who might know what's going through his mind when he decides to model himself on Arnie in the Conan the Warrior Barbarian fella days please.

I'd do it with questions:
"How big are you planning to get"?
"Do you think you look good that size"?
"What are you trying to achieve"?
etc.
Hopefully he'll then ask you why you're asking, which is your cue to say what you think, directly but reasonably:
"I think you'd look better with smaller muscles"
Something like that.
Tom.
