I'd just send a text asking for a date. Keep it simple, straightforward, short and to the point. Something like this:
"Fancy a date with me? Tue 8PM La Scala...txt me bak"
That ought to get you noticed.

It really depends on whose attention you're trying to get... i think that particular message will only get you noticed as a potential shag as opposed to noticing you, yourself.
That message could work, but it's all about how you play it after. Just make sure it's known that it was to break the ice rather than a one off event. Unless that's what you want of course!-
