In my list of things 'to do' one of these days, is a handbrake turn. So my question is this - have any of you ever done one of these? (on private ground of course, not the public highway 
Perish the thought that I would ever suggest anything like that....
).
Is it fun? And how do you do them?
Probably I'll never have the nerve to try it, (like hot-wiring the car, another 'to do' of mine) but it'd be interesting to learn more about it anyway!

put some weight in the boot of your car.Try it at night in a large superstore carpark,when its empty.Accelerate in a straight line,and immediately after you turn your steering to maximum left or right,pull the hand brake,and see what happens.

You sound like a wild one tylluan, and, hot wiring a car! Wow.
I tried it once, in a company car, on a very gravelly road got up to 50 mph, hard lock to the left and yanked on the hand brake, the car went up on two wheels, I closed my eyes, and finished up with the car facing the opposite way, success, but never again.
There are places where you can go to try it under instruction quite legally, as for information on hot wiring the best will come from one of your your cell mates if you ever end up in prison.

It's best done on wet grass, you get a good spin then!! x
