My uncle (who is my Dad's younger brother) and his wife are due to have a baby in a few months time.
Me and the other half were discussing how this baby is in relation to my son! (As my dad wants to know and cannot fugure it out!) The OH said our son would be a half-cousin!? (I said Uncle jokingly!) And I would be this Baby's Cousin!?
Sounds confusing! But I am serious!

Yes, you will be the baby's cousin! So, your son is one down in the generations, so it's First Cousin once removed. Sorry, I meant to put the fuller explanation down.

Ywp, seems straight forward to me, you'll have a baby cousin - I have loads of cousins under the age of 2 and it's really stange! BB will be first cousin once removed, as TPF said above.

Yes I think it the baby is your son's first cousin once removed. any future child of that baby would be your son's second cousin I believe.
